Dr. Moin Ashraf
Hello. I am Dr Muhammad Moin Ashraf, graduate of DUHS-SMC batch 2015. I did 2 years training in paediatrics from Abbasi shaheed hospital Karachi, for MCPS (CPSP) requirement (between july 2017 - august 2019). I then joined NICVD pediatric cardiology department as a Clinical fellow from December 2019 and worked there till july 2022. I initially joined it as a clinical fellow for clinical duties, soon my HOD Dr Sattar Sheikh put me in research department and there i took part in may ongoing research projects both our in hospital projects and also those with collaboration with Boston Children Hospital and AKUH. Meanwhile, I enrolled myself in AKUH Family Medicine one year course endorsed by WHO as 1 year regional diploma in Family Medicine, that course completed in june 2022. And now, I am doing my third specialisation from CPSP - MCPS in HEALTH CARE SYSTEM MANAGEMENT, a six semisters based program endorsed by WHO. Expected time of it's completion is july 2023. Looking forward to serve community in one of these aspects: -Health management and policy making - Public health / primary health care prevention and family medicine. - Pediatric medicine and care. - Researches.
